GLAD thin films is the GLancing Angle Deposition technology now being offered by Micralyne.

GLAD is a proprietary method to deposit engineered nanostructured thin films for next generation nano and micro devices.

GLAD thin films can be deposited using organic and inorganic materials to create, flexibly structured physical features in the scale of nanometers. These films can be engineered to create unique properties for:

GLAD thin films are fabricated utilizing patented technologies (US Patents #5,866,204; #6,206,065; #6,248,422; #6,549,253) that have been developed over the past 10 years at the University of Alberta.
