Micralyne follows a formal Transfer to Manufacturing (TtM) program that is part of an
ISO quality system. The program is well structured and has been successfully implemented for several existing customers. With the right
MEMS capabilities, Micralyne has effectively developed customer prototypes, moved product into
MEMS manufacturing, and undergone extensive supplier audits by leading companies in the
transportation,
communications,
energy and
life science industries.
The end goal of a TtM program is to establish a
MEMS manufacturing supply agreement to provide known good die or integrated components to customers. Additionally, objectives for continuous yield, cost and quality improvements are mutually agreed upon on an ongoing basis.
Key Factors of a TtM Program:
• |
Manufacturing input during MEMS development |
• |
Match process to final specifications |
• |
Match process cost to price expectations |
• |
Prove MEMS device repeatability and reliability |
