Micralyne Inc. Announces Management Appointments as its Telecommunications Business Surges
Edmonton, Alberta, January 31, 2002 - Micralyne Inc., one of the largest independent MEMS companies in North America, today announced the appointment of Mr. Bruce Alton as Vice President of Marketing & Business Development and Mr. Jim Ramsden as Director of Sales for its telecommunications and electronics product offerings.

Mr. Alton was previously Director of Business Development and prior to Micralyne held executive positions in both technology and venture capital companies in Alberta. Mr. Ramsden was previously Account Manager for Micralyne and prior to this held key sales positions in other advanced material and technology companies in Alberta.
