Micralyne Announces the Appointment of Mr. Yan Loke as Director of Engineering
Edmonton, Alberta, January 8, 2003 - Micralyne Inc., a growing and profitable MEMS company, today announced the appointment of Mr. Yan Loke as Director of Engineering.
In this role, Yan has the responsibility of managing all customer development projects as well as ensuring Micralyne has the technical and research & development resources to expand its position as a market leading provider of MEMS product solutions.
Yan joins Micralyne from the optical switch manufacturer OMM Inc. at which he was the Manager of their MEMS foundry. As the main liaison between OMM and its external MEMS and wafer foundries, his responsibilities included ensuring wafer quality through lot qualification, managing process and yield improvements and transferring the SUMMIT IV process from Sandia National Laboratories to a well-established high volume manufacturing IC facility. Prior to OMM, Yan was a Member, Technical Staff at the Institute of Microelectronics in Singapore. In this position, he was primarily responsible for major sensor related projects such as the development of integrated microphones and micro relays with many multinational companies.
