Micralyne Wins Edmonton Smart City 2001 Research & Technology Award

Edmonton, Alberta, January 31, 2002 – Micralyne Inc., was today named as the winner of the 2001 Research & Technology Award at the Smart City Awards Luncheon in Edmonton.
This award is for a business or organization or individual that has, as a result of active research and development activities, either introduced a new product or service or further developed an existing one leading to successful commercialization or economic development.
Micralyne was also a finalist in the TELUS Smart Business Award which recognizes leaders in bridging education and business, and who have played a significant role in helping to make Edmonton a Smart City.
