That same year, Teledyne’s clean room space made another 40% jump with the acquisition of Micralyne. Their decades of experience, extensive process portfolio, along with rigorous product and process IP protection, make Teledyne DALSA and Teledyne Micralyne the obvious choice in MEMS manufacturing.
The Teledyne MEMS group now boasts two 150mm production lines, the expanded 200mm line, new material capabilities, and new processes. Teledyne will continue to grow to support the increasing demand for MEMS products. “The combination of the Bromont and Edmonton pure-play foundries allow two formerly independent foundries to collaborate on best practices and brings an additional 250 years of development experience to Teledyne,” commented Claude Jean, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Teledyne MEMS.
